About this deal

Sharps bins are provided free of charge to patients in Nottingham and Nottinghamshire on prescription. 1 litre bins are usually prescribed, but larger bins can be prescribed for those on long term injections (to allow less frequent collections) or multiple injections (where larger volume of waste is produced). Only to be prescribed if there is no alternative (such as a slipper or larger shoe) or if wounds are very heavily leaking and would ruin the patients footwear. The Kerraped boots are designed in a way that they provide maximum comfort to your foot. These shoes can be worn on either of the foot as a replacement for your regular footwear. The boot has many benefits aside from being a comfortable and light footwear which allows you to reduce pressure on an injured or bandaged foot.

As a general rule, herbal products are poorly standardised, will have no evidence of efficacy (but will have a placebo effect), have unknown side effects and interactions, give false hope and cost money. Our offerings include Absorbent Dressings, designed to manage exudate and promote healing, Alginate Dressings, made from seaweed extract, to absorb wound exudate, Charcoal Dressings, which effectively draw out impurities and promote healing, Film Dressings, which provide a protective barrier against bacteria and other external factors, Foam Dressings, ideal for highly exudating wounds, Honey Dressings, known for their antibacterial properties, Hydrocolloid Dressings, which provide a moist wound environment, Hydrogel Dressings, for soothing and cooling relief, Iodine Dressings, for wound antisepsis, Scar Dressings, to reduce the appearance of scars, and Silver Dressings, which have antimicrobial properties. However, when even one of the feet or legs are hurt it becomes difficult for a person to make a balance while standing, ending up with putting more pressure on the affected leg. These boots are therapeutic, off-loading footwear which reduces up to 30% of the pressure on your foot leaving you able to walk normally.
