About this deal

This book is an excellent guide if you’re looking to review stitches or find new stitches. It’s broken up into 10 sections, such as basic stitches, bobbles & clusters, post stitches, cable stitches, Tunisian stitches, and more. For each stitch, you’ll also find a finished swatch picture so that you can see how it will look once it’s worked up. Crochet is very therapeutic. It’s very calming to be able to create something, make a mistake, and unravel it and pretend that it never even existed. There’s (usually) no evidence of the mistake, other than a long strand of yarn. And I’m okay with that. When things go right, I end up with delightful things, like my very bookish amigurumi collectionor any number of crochet bookmarks. When it comes to crochet books there are a lot to choose from, you can opt for general crochet projects, crochet granny square blankets, crochet garments, crochet food and even specialised types of crochet like Tunisian crochet and amigurumi, which you can find out more about in our interview with Vincent Green-Hite, author of the new book Knot Bad Amigurumi.

That said, if you love to make super-cute and colorful amigurumi, Kawaii Crochet is a great choice.
