This is Ironstone Custom’s hand-built version of the Gilmour Scratchplate Pickguard as used on his famous ‘Black Strat’.I installed the Gilmour Scratchplate with Platinum pickups into a Kit built Guitar with a very resonant Ash body. The depth of tone is fantastic and the clarity and separation from the individual strings is very striking. Whether selling you the parts to hotrod a Squire, Epiphone, or Mexican Fender, or selling you complete, dialed, turnkey guitars for realistic money, we aim to get you to the gig with the tools you need, without breaking the bank.

Novation’s Launchkey series are fully integrated with Ableton live so it is as easy as plug and play. Scratchplate now available with ‘Bridge Blend’ option as well as the Gilmour Neck in parallel functionality (at no extra cost). The body is black (this is my last choice in colour but I love the feel of the Bob bodies so snapped it up when I found it). I can’t claim to be a great guitarist, but the difference this has made to the sound is very, very obvious and in the best possible way.
