About this deal

The 10-position adjustment knob of Atlas allows you to prepare pasta sheets in different thicknesses, suitable for many pasta shapes.

Nothing cheap here, that’s for sure, but this is perfect for special treats, and there’s IKEA for the rest! Following its success, he created a factory in place of his humble shed – on a site that’s still in use today under his grandson Giacomo’s management – and their Atlas 150 Pasta Machine has remained almost unchanged since 1965! And for days when only a multi-stranded pasta dish will do, this pasta machine comes with a dual cutting roller that can cut your just-made sheets into fettucine or tagliolini. The accessories for long pasta are made of steel with rollers made of food-grade anodised aluminium alloy and polymeric resin combs that do not release harmful dust particles on the pasta and guarantee a product that is 100% healthy and genuine.

As a result, the machines are made with anodised aluminium alloy, meaning that no metal residues are released onto the dough during use. We've put pasta makers head-to-head in testing on multiple occasions, both in the Lab and at home, and this one keeps coming out on top. These machines function beautifully and have very little trouble with rippling or chattering polymer clay sheets, even at thinner settings.

You use a removable hand crank to turn both rollers and cutter, and you can swap out different cutting units to get pasta of different shapes and sizes. With Atlas 150 you can easily make lasagna, fettuccine, tagliolini and 12 other pasta shapes thanks to the wide range of accessories. With 10 different settings, you can adjust the thickness of the pasta to exactly how you like it at the touch of a button, and it easily clamps onto your kitchen surface so it won't move while in use - it's also compatible with a variety of accessories (sold separately) to make a selection of other pasta shapes such as spaghetti, ravioli and more. The local operation quickly expanded and by 1938 the first Marcato factory was producing for high demand. We proudly offer a selection of beautifully curated gifts that are expertly personalised and lovingly packed in our London studio.

At some point, polymer clayers realized they could use pasta machines for sheeting and mixing polymer clay. The company boasts that the term “Wellness” refers to the plastic blades eliminating metal shavings falling into your food. Set the adjustment knob to 1 and pass the pasta sheet through just once; then, set the adjustment knob to 2 and pass the pasta sheet through once more; then, set the adjustment knob to 3, and so on until you reach the desired thickness (the recommended thickness setting is no.

If turning with the hand crank is too strenuous in the long run, the machine can be retrofitted with a motor. Whether you're a seasoned chef or a beginner in the kitchen, our collection has everything you need to create delicious and authentic pasta dishes. The traditional Italian brand Marcato offers everything you need to make delicious homemade pasta and cookies. To use, reposition the removable hand crank to the cutter attachment and feed the pasta sheet into the slot. We aim to reuse materials and packaging where possible and this is usually the only plastic you will find in your parcel. Remove the cutting part of the machine by lifting it with your hands, making it slide in the special guides. If you use the pasta straight away, remember that fresh pasta takes as little as 2 minutes to cook in boiling water – but, if you wish, you can dry the pasta (in bundles or strands) and keep it in an airtight jar for up to a month.
